Having your vehicle repaired and maintained can be a minefield to negotiate. Put us to the test. We promise to be as transparent as possible and work with you to find the most effective route to get your vehicle back on the road as cost efficient and fast as possible. Remember that we will not commence with any work that has not been approved by you so you will not be caught out by any expensive surprises.

Is your vehicle pulling to one side? Is your steering wheel vibrating under braking? Does your pedal sink to the floor lower than normal?

It may be time to take advantage of our brake repair & brake pad services. Brakes degrade over time. So slowly in fact that we may not even notice it. This is due to normal wear and tear and even moisture in the brake fluid. Brake fluid should be checked at every service and replaced when moisture is detected in the fluid. We can test your braking system and make any repairs necessary. Brake hoses and fluid can also be checked and replaced if necessary.

Regular testing and inspection will assist in maximizing battery life.

We  check the state of charge of your battery. Ensuring the surface of the battery is clean preventing any current discharge. We make sure that the terminals are not corroded and that they are properly secured ensuring good connections.

Battery life deterioates over time with the constant charging and discharging. The performance of the battery is also affected due to colder temperatures so let us check your battery before winter.

Your car is one of your most expensive purchases you will make next to the purchase of your home. Its not only a tool you use to commute to and from work but gives you the freedom to go to visit friends and family, go on holiday and travel to the shops to do your groceries. Your vehicle is your pride and joy. We tend to only realize how important our vehicle is once something happens to it.

In order to keep your vehicle operating in tip top condition it is important to keep your vehicle properly maintained. A vehicle service including an engine oil and filter change is vital for your car’s health, and needs to be performed on time, every time, if you want your car to run smoothly, efficiently and safely.

Generally, vehicle owners try to spend as little on their vehicle as possible, so when money is short it can be tempting to skip your vehicles service. By choosing not to look after your vehicle properly, you could run the risk of experiencing much bigger bills later down the line or finding yourself stuck on the side of the road after a catastrophic component failure.

Getting your car serviced each year and maintaining it between services is money well spent. Problems are likely to be caught earlier and, more often than not, the earlier they’re caught, the cheaper they are to fix.

The secret to preventing big repair costs is preventative maintenance. There are items that need replacement at specific intervals or service schedules. These could range from air, pollen and fuel filters, to engine oil, antifreeze and driveline fluids. Sparkplugs on petrol engines may a few different options and replacement intervals ranging from every 20,000kms to 100,00kms.

Just ‘topping up’ your oil can slowly clog up your car’s engine from the inside over a period of time. Oil lubricates and cleans the moving parts inside your engine. Oil degrades over time due to the constant movement of reciprocating parts, heating and cooling of the engine and moisture found in the air around us. This process of oxidation occurs naturally in the oil, but the rate at which this happens depends on factors such as temperature, moisture, oxygen levels and engine condition. If your engine oil is black, dirty and thick like marmite, it probably has not been changed for a while and you may be running the risk of premature engine failure if you do not change it. Oil galleries get clogged or blocked risking oil being blocked in getting to all areas of your engine.

Vehicle manufacturers have specified their service intervals in your service book that varies from model to mode. Radmoto  recommends that petrol motors are serviced at least every 10 000kms or 12 months for Petrol vehicles and 5000kms or 6 months for Diesel vehicles.
